After a delicious breakfast, your exploration of Beijing commences with a visit to Tiananmen Square, one of the largest public squares in the world. From there, you’ll head to the Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City. Officially known as the Imperial Palace Museum, the Forbidden City was initially constructed by the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Yong Le. A total of 24 emperors lived here successively.
The construction of the palace began in 1406 and was completed in 1420. However, it has endured numerous events such as fires, rebuilds, sacks, and renovations over the centuries. As a result, most of the architecture you see today dates back to the 1700s and later.

Start your day with breakfast before setting off towards the Great Wall. On the way, make a stop at a Jade Museum to delve into the rich history of jade. In Chinese, jade is pronounced “Yu,” and it has a history in China spanning at least four thousand years. You’ll have the opportunity to observe skilled artisans at work, creating their intricate designs.
Afterwards, embark on a scenic drive through the countryside and mountains to reach China’s most iconic monument – the Great Wall. We’ll visit the less touristy Juyong Pass, avoiding the more accessible and often crowded sections. The Great Wall meanders through China’s northern mountain ranges, stretching from the Yellow Sea to the Gobi Desert, covering a distance of over 3,500 miles. complex was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1983.
In the afternoon, visit The Temple of Heaven is a spectacular imperial complex of religious buildings located in the southeastern part of Beijing. It’s also a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Emperors of the last two Chinese dynasties used it as a sacred temple to pray for a good harvest during annual ceremonies. Inside, you’ll find a magnificent wooden circular building constructed on three layers of marble stone base without the use of a single nail. Another fascinating feature is the Echo Wall, which can transmit sounds over long distances from one end of the perimeter to the other.

After breakfast,visit The Terracotta Army, one of the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is undoubtedly a must-see for every visitor to Xi’an. Regarded as the eighth wonder of the world, it was discovered accidentally in 1974. We’ll drive to the excavation site to witness the army of over 7,000 soldiers, each meticulously crafted by one of China’s emperors to guard him in the afterlife.
After lunch, your guide will take you to the Wild Goose Pagoda, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the past, scholars used it to translate Buddhist scriptures into Chinese.Next, we’ll head to the City
Wall, an ancient fortification that surrounds inner Xi’an. It is the best-preserved city wall in China and one of the finest examples globally.

Take a morning flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, a tour representative will meet you and transfer you to Suzhou. Suzhou is known as the “Venice of the East” and is famous in China for its beautiful gardens, canals, and silk production. Take a leisurely stroll in the world-famous Master of Nets Garden, which features ornate viewing pavilions and a captivating landscape of water and striking rockeries.

China is the largest silk producer in the world, and Suzhou is renowned for its exquisite silk quality. Today, you can witness the delicate silk-making process from silkworm cocoons at the Silk Spinning Factory and see firsthand that the handmade quilts are as light as a feather. Here, you have the option to cruise along the Grand Canal (not included) to observe life along China’s ancient waterway.
Next, transfer to the cosmopolitan metropolis of Shanghai. Visit the famous Bund, a five-block riverfront promenade lined with shops and commercial buildings. On the east side stand modern mega high-rises, while on the west side, you’ll find traditional European-style architecture, all divided by the Huangpu River.
End the evening with the option to attend the thrilling Chinese Acrobatic Show “ERA: The Intersection of Time” (not included). Created by the director of Cirque du Soleil, it is widely regarded as the best acrobatic show in Shanghai and the pinnacle of Chinese acrobatics by professionals.
